LIVE-OUT SPANISH SPEAKING NANNY (must be first language)
The family for this wonderful toddler is establishing her fluency in Spanish right from the onset and looking for a Spanish speaking Nanny to be this special influence in the formative premise of her learning and speaking. As these are very much the years of cognitive development your command of the Spanish language must be clear, fluent and perfect grammatically.
You will be part of a team of Nanny's and caregivers and rotate shifts within the week day and weekend coverage. On occasion you will need to travel with the family and on occasion sleep over should the parents have a special event.
Standard to your schedule rotation you will be asked to provide coverage from 7:00a - 7:00p three days per week and a carry over day of a half shift. Overtime is paid. Health Care is provided
Your former experience and ease with caring for infants and toddlers is a must, supported by exceptional references and being CPR/First Aid certified and current.
Standard duties of changing diapers, bathing, feeding, establishing routines, ensuring the areas are clean and tidy, cleaning toys and ensuring the best possible care of this young toddler. You will work closely with the team of staff members; chef, housekeeper, laundress to ensure all aspects relative to the infant are in tip top order and hygienic cleanliness.
Additionally, you will be scheduling Doctor visits, play-dates, engaging the child in educational activities and of course speaking Spanish to evolve her vocabulary and communication and understanding skills.
It will be imperative that you manage the stocking of related supplies and items necessary to ensure that necessary items are present at other locations that the family travels to and always being of mindful vigilance in your level of care and guidance.
Great communication skills both written and spoken in both Spanish and English. Know the proper boundaries of knowing when to step out of the privacy of the parental bonding with their child and then again to step in once again to engage the child.
Must have the ability to manage all aspects of baby needs and concerns regarding teething, colic, upset, and ensuring foremost the health, happiness and well being of your charge at all times.
