This is a GREEN HOME so familiarity with the use of natural products and earth friendly products a plus** A lovely family requires a very experienced housekeeper for their holiday home based in the Bridgehampton. Your duties will include all cleaning, hoovering, dusting, changing beds, looking after the silver, and making sure the rooms are ready for when guests arrive. You will need to have a good knowledge when it comes to laundry and now what needs to be hand washed sent to the dry cleaners etc. You will be required to lay and serve at table. The family are only in residence approximately 3 months of the year and when they are you will be working 6 days a week with long hours and the job will be very full on with guests, but when they are not you will be working Monday to Friday. There is a house manager who is also based at the home who you will report to. The family have got 2 young children, so someone who is child friendly is a must. There is a possibility of the position being live-in but unfortunately no dependants or animals are allowed. Salary negotiable. Start ASAP.
