BUTLER - NYC This exquisite fully staffed property requires the attentive care of an energized, self-starter to perform all serving & Ladies Maid duties ensuring smooth running seamlessly orchestrated service. The household respectfully appreciates a modern service approach in a more zen manner - there are formal gatherings from time to time but typically less formal but always structured. 3-5 years former experience within a high profile household - exhibiting a true affinity for team building and coordinating efforts of staff toward service and hospitality Aware of all household protocol and VIP interaction Care of all plating, glassware, china, crystal and silver F & B knowledge, cellar care, wine knowledge, beverage and spirit knowledge; stocking all beverages on a daily basis Creating a soothing ambiance and greeting guests with a welcome recall of their "favorites + preferences" The ability to liaise with the Estate Manager and Chef to coordinate all events and prepare accordingly whether intimate or larger gatherings Formal and informal service, training your team of staff as needed Inventory management, procurement and sourcing "hard-to-get" items, personal shopping and a refined concierge sort of support Excellent communication skills, you will be tasked with creating inventory reports and online shopping Liaise with the extended professional team of a family office, decorators, designers, art curators, wine There will, from time to time be a request to travel with the family - particularly summer season. Must be eligible to work in the US. Ability to drive, hold a valid Driver's License
