LIVE OUT BUTLER/COOK - CHEF Lattingtown, New York The family consists of two busy and socially active elderly principles that enjoy eating at home a few times a week along with going out for dinner a few times a week as well. They are a close family so will often have people over on Sunday’s for lunch. The principles are great to work for. Attention to detail is a very important aspect of the job. The job will mainly be the following: Doing daily tasks and keeping the house stocked with groceries in an efficient and costly way Cooking or handling family dinners for parents, daughter, and kids a few times a week Running Sunday Dinners for 10-14 people with the help of other staff Communicate problems and things noticed that may need attention Doing different tasks/projects as directed by myself when not working directly with principals on the weekends and for dinners. Important characteristics we are looking for: Very Experienced working in Estate-10 years of more USA Work eligible Must drive Excellent references, a thorough background check will be conducted Great attention to detail Cheerful attitude Ability to make decisions as things change around them Skills wanted; Organizational-tasks, errands, shopping, write down information on the fly and make sure things are finished to completion Ability to cook reasonably simple recipes like their favorite Meatloaf, Chicken Marbella, Roasted Salmon, Grilling along with comfort food The applicant will have the opportunity to work alongside the person that has been doing this job for several years who is looking to work less hours. Weekends are required, and then 3 of the 5 weekdays which fluctuate from week to week depending on the Principal’s schedule and needs.
