EXECUTIVE LEVEL PERSONAL ASSISTANT/HOUSE MANAGER - NYC
Being highly organized with the ability to step into place and make decisions by proxy in keeping with your employer is key to your success.
You will be required to manage and oversee multiple projects ranging across myriad areas of a highly active employer involved in philanthropic considerations, art and finance along with overseeing vendors and contractors in building/refurbishing & renovations. On occasion you will be required to travel to another property to oversee art installations and liaise with designers and decorators and ensure the staff is up to speed with their duties and the property is guest-ready and running smoothly with everyone keeping up with their responsibilities.
You will need to coordinate complex travel arrangements, review contracts, maintain files and ensure credit card and expense reconciliation, manage relationships with top tier professionals such as leading architects/designers/CPA's and a full RoloDex of exclusive contacts and vendors. You will act as a gatekeeper with full discretion and being security minded.
Additionally, the post requires that you are resourceful and quick on your toes, challenge authority if there is a better way to manage the daily operations. You will need to thoroughly vet contractors and vendors of diverse fields toward favorable outcome and successful job completion.
Project management and event management is a necessary component of your duties and your ability to take on large budget events and manage their successful outcome is essential. Coordinating all support vendors necessary to event management is key.
Being able to multi-task and having a firm grasp on operation management in an overall big picture of day to day operations within a very high-profile involvement is key.
