RECEPTIONIST/ OFFICE MANAGER TO A FAMILY OFFICE
This is a perfect job for a Multi-lingual, Hospitality/Concierge minded professional who is in need of additional year round work as the front of the Office "meet and greet" person for this philanthropic Family Office in Manhattan. The post is mainly Monday through Friday but perhaps rarely on the remote occasion you may be asked to assist with a weekend office day should a meeting be required over a weekend.
Looking for a personable hospitality minded professional who is poised and aware in the ability to interact with prominent VIP/Celebrity and high-profile business people from all over the world. Your duties will be to welcome all incoming guests, liaise with the building security and ensure complete comfort of the guest upon their arrival to this luxurious office space.
Additionally, your duties will be to ensure the food-service and catering is cared for with special attention to personal dietary preferences and personal requests along with ensuring tea/coffee and beverage service is in place and accessible. You will also be asked to arrange ground transport and interact with various chauffeurs/drivers to ensure timely and clear direction for pick-ups and drop-off of various visiting guests.
You will be the front person representing the family as the first person to greet all guests for this prominent office and also be the final farewell upon guests leaving the office, it will be important that you convey warmth, good cheer and a friendly welcome within proper respectful boundaries, ensuring coats are hung up and guests are comfortable and properly announced. Within this post you may also be in the role of a "NYC Concierge" of sorts whereby various international clients may ask that you assist with reservations, suggest places to shop and lend your savvy NYC awareness to their enjoyment of NYC key places to see, shop and visit. Your NYC and surrounding area awareness is essential.
You will be answering phones and taking/conveying precise messages and interacting with numerous confidential callers. It is imperative that you are MAC savvy and also have a pleasant demeanor.
Your knowledge of French and Russian languages is a plus along with Hospitality education and or concierge training and experience.
